sendsend.email

n8n

The SendSend node sends email and manages contacts. The SendSend Trigger starts a workflow on delivery events and received mail.

Status. The node is published on npm as n8n-nodes-sendsend. Its logic is tested against stand-ins, but it has not been run inside a live n8n yet, so tell us if anything behaves differently. The HTTP Request node, below, works in any case.

Install the node

In n8n, go to Settings → Community nodes → Install and enter n8n-nodes-sendsend. On a self-hosted n8n you can also install it from the command line, in n8n’s own folder: npm install n8n-nodes-sendsend, then restart n8n.

Credentials

Add a SendSend API credential and paste a key from API keys. Give it only what the workflow needs.

The nodes

  • SendSend → Email: Send, Get, Get Many, Cancel. Send takes from, to, subject, HTML or text, cc, bcc, reply-to, a send time, tags and an idempotency key.
  • SendSend → Contact: Create or Update, Get, Get Many, Unsubscribe, Delete.
  • SendSend Trigger: pick the events. It creates its webhook when you activate the workflow, checks every request’s signature, and deletes the webhook when you deactivate it.

Without the node

An HTTP Request node with method POST, URL https://api.sendsend.email/v1/emails, a Header Auth credential (Authorization: Bearer ss_live_…) and a JSON body does the same job. For triggers, use the Webhook node and point a SendSend webhook at its production URL.
