Changelog

What has shipped, newest first.

A real template builder

  • Build templates visually, with blocks for image and text, products, discount codes, social links, lists, quotes, signatures, events and rating surveys, and a table that repeats for each item in a list.
  • Sixty ready-made templates in six categories: onboarding, security, e-commerce, WooCommerce, billing and notifications. The WooCommerce set covers every store email: new order, processing, completed, on hold, cancelled, refunded, failed, invoice, customer note, new account, password reset and failed subscription payment.
  • Fields, conditions and lists in templates: fallbacks, filters such as currency and date, if and else, and loops. Existing templates keep working.
  • A brand kit for your logo, colors and footer, saved blocks to reuse, and restoring any earlier version.
  • Translations, split testing across versions with results per version, test sends, and a plain-text version made for you.

Split testing for broadcasts

  • Test up to four subject lines or versions of a broadcast. Each goes to a slice of your audience, we wait, and the version with the most opens or clicks is sent to everyone else.
  • Results per version in the broadcast stats, in the dashboard, API and every library.

Blocklist monitoring

  • Watch your domains and sending IP addresses against public spam blocklists. Checked every six hours, with an email to your owners and admins when one is listed and when it clears.
  • In the dashboard, API, every library, the CLI and the MCP server.

DMARC monitoring

  • See who sends email as your domain and whether it passes. Add a domain, publish one DNS record, and the daily reports from Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and others become a plain list of senders with advice on what to fix.
  • Tells you when it is safe to move from p=none to quarantine and reject, and checks that your DNS record points at us.
  • In the dashboard, API, every library, the CLI and the MCP server.

Email verification and a hosted MCP server

  • Check an address before you send: syntax, whether the domain accepts mail, throwaway and role addresses, likely typos with a suggestion, and your own suppression list. One at a time or 100 at a time, in the API, every library, the CLI and the dashboard.
  • A free email address checker on the website, no sign-up.
  • A hosted MCP server at api.sendsend.email/mcp: connect Claude, Cursor or VS Code with a URL and an API key and nothing to install, with a read-only mode.

Duplicate broadcasts, clicked links, and webhooks everywhere

  • Duplicate a broadcast into a new draft from the API, the SDKs, the CLI and the MCP server.
  • List every link clicked in a broadcast, most clicked first, with paging. The stats still show the top ten.
  • Webhook commands in the command line (list, create, delete, rotate the secret, list deliveries, replay) and matching tools in the MCP server.
  • The JavaScript SDK gained broadcasts, and get and delete for webhooks.

Marketing email, receiving, and a broader platform

  • Audiences, contacts, custom fields and topics, with CSV import.
  • Segments: saved filters over your contacts, with a live count, and broadcasts that go to just a segment.
  • Broadcasts with a visual editor and starter designs, scheduling, and one-click unsubscribe on every message.
  • Stats for each broadcast: delivery, bounces, complaints, unique opens and clicks, top links and unsubscribes.
  • Receive email: an address for every project, an Inbox, an API, an email.received webhook, and receiving on your own domain.
  • Deliverability insights for each domain, TLS-only delivery, and a custom return-path.
  • Rate-limit headers on every response, and errors that repeat statusCode, name and message at the top level.
  • Guides for Zapier, Make, n8n, Supabase Auth and Clerk, an n8n node and a Zapier app, and a CSV import for contacts.
  • Official libraries for Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, .NET, Java and Rust, generated from the API description and tested against the real API.
  • Signup forms with double opt-in, a hosted page you can embed, and a preferences page for subscribers.
  • A free domain checker at sendsend.email/tools/domain-check: SPF, DKIM and DMARC, with the record to add.
  • Segments you can send a broadcast to, per-broadcast stats, and receiving on your own domain.
  • The API reference grew to more than 90 operations, all in the OpenAPI file.

Scheduling, attachments, tracking, keys and logs

  • Schedule an email up to 30 days ahead, then reschedule or cancel it.
  • Attachments: up to 10 files and 10 MB, deleted once handed to the mail provider.
  • Optional open and click tracking, chosen per domain.
  • Create and revoke API keys with an API key, without ever gaining more access.
  • Request logs for 30 days, with no message content stored.
  • A command-line tool, an MCP server for AI assistants, and attachments in the WordPress plugin.

Batch sending, suppressions, metrics and more

  • Batch send: up to 100 messages in one request.
  • Suppressions API and dashboard page, with removals recorded in the audit log.
  • Metrics: recipient outcomes per day, with rates.
  • Test addresses: bounced@, complained@ and suppressed@ simulate every outcome.
  • Webhooks: change an endpoint’s URL or events without losing its secret or history.
  • Templates: duplicate and delete, and preview any version at desktop and mobile widths.
  • React Email support, per-record DNS checks, and an email when a domain verifies.
  • Free, Pro, Scale and Enterprise plans, a status page and an OpenAPI file.

Invite-only beta

  • REST API for transactional email with idempotency, templates, scoped keys and a test mode that never delivers.
  • Domain onboarding with DKIM, optional custom MAIL FROM and a DMARC check, re-verified automatically.
  • Delivery, bounce and complaint events, with automatic suppression and signed, replayable webhooks.
  • Dashboard with a route and timeline for every message, per-project usage and spending caps.
  • Agency roles with read-only client seats, an audit log, and plans billed through Stripe.
  • Code samples for cURL, Node, Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, Java and C#.
